Why You'll Like It
Set back from a no through road in a residential area on the edge of the city, this chain free bungalow has lovely large front and rear gardens, gated driveway parking and offers fabulous living space in a very convenient spot. Inside, this well cared for property has a spacious reception hall with cloaks cupboard, a living room with former fireplace and a window overlooking the front garden, an open plan kitchen/dining room with plenty of matching cabinets and workspace and a handy door to the outside. The previous owners preferred to have two full bathrooms so they converted one of the bedrooms to make a stunning second bathroom, however, should the original layout be required this could be achieved. Both bathrooms are well fitted, one has a four piece suite comprising, bath, shower cubicle, WC and basin. The second bathroom has a white suite comprising bath, WC and basin. There are two good sized bedrooms. A real feature of this bungalow is the exceptional outside space with a large enclosed rear garden, mainly lawned and with hedging. A courtesy door leads in to the rear of the garage. To the front is a large lawn, again enclosed with a ling gated driveway to one side. The garage has an electric up and over door. With gas central heating and double glazing, the property is available without any onward chain.
Where It Is
A very convenient location indeed, all the amenities of the city are within walking distance. Truro is a thriving little city with a variety of national and independent retailers. The spires of the cathedral dominate the skyline and cobbled streets offer much to explore. The recently rebuilt Hall For Cornwall has a packed schedule of shows and the Plaza Cinema has 4 screens. Aside from the city, many rural walks are on the doorstep and both the north and south coasts are a short drive away. The mainline train station has services to both London and the north of England and there's a handy branch line service to Penryn and Falmouth. This part of the city is home to Cornwall Council at County Hall and The Royal Cornwall Hospital. Richard Lander secondary School and Truro College are nearby too.
