Why You'll Like It
An extremely spacious FOUR BEDROOM cottage that has fabulous living space and generous bedrooms. The property retains all its charm and character but has been thoughtfully updated to provide modern touches throughout. Once inside, the living space is particularly well thought out with a dining room complete with open beam ceilings and a fireplace, a cosy living room which again has a fireplace, beams and exposed stonework. Working from home is well catered for with a separate study. The kitchen provides a lovely heart to the house with contemporary light grey cabinets, lots of workspace, a tiled floor and room for a breakfast table and chairs. A stable door opens through to the utility room which makes it ideal for pets and taking care of all manner of practicalities, with a large Belfast style sink and a door to the garden. A guest cloakroom/WC completes the ground floor. Upstairs the bedrooms are all a generous size, in particular the main bedroom which provides a great space to relax in and has an en-suite shower room. Each bedroom is a lovely individual space, light and bright. The family bathroom has a white suite and a shower over the bath. Throughout the property, modern electric eco radiators have been installed as have solar panels with the benefit of a battery store to retain the excess power generated until it is required. Outside, the garden is enclosed with a paved seating/BBQ area and a level lawn. A side gate leads to the off road parking area.
Where It Is
Stithians is a very central, rural village with tons going on. All the everyday essentials are here with doctors, primary school, convenience shop, pubs, church and farm shop etc. but there's a whole lot more to explore. The area has an abundance of country walks to explore and the lake is a very large established reservoir with water sports centre and cafe. Stithians is famous for the annual agricultural show and many other interesting events take place throughout the year at the showground. The village is perfectly placed for access to Penryn, Falmouth, Helston, Redruth and Truro, it really is a great location in mid-Cornwall.
