A communal hallway with access to the residents' lounge and the house manager's office leads to either stairs or a lift to the first floor. Set at the very end of the building the solid door opens into a private entrance hall with an airing cupboard and a cloaks cupboard with the consumer unit. There is also an entry phone system that links into a 24/7 emergency call system. Off the hall is a sitting room enjoying a double aspect with views over the grounds of the Blue School and enjoying a westerly aspect. This room has a feature electric fire and in turn leads to the well appointed kitchen. Equipped with an electric hob and oven there is also an integrated fridge and freezer and a window to the side with views up to the Mendip Hills.
Also enjoying the westerly aspect and views over the Blue school is the double bedroom with built-in mirror-fronted wardrobe. The bathroom is fully tiled with a bath with thermostatic shower over and a warm air heater.
The development enjoys well maintained communal gardens around the main building with a central car park for residents and visitors. There is also a covered area for the storage and charging of mobility scooters (subject to availability).
Inside there is a south-facing residents' lounge which is well utilised and a laundry room with dryers, washing machines and ironing facilities. On the first floor there is also a games room and a further room to provide storage for larger items like suitcases.
