Why You'll Like It
This charming converted former school house has an abundance of space and many period features. The open plan living space is very large indeed but nicely divided into a distinct kitchen and separate living and dining space which takes a very large dining table (included). The kitchen has been refitted with painted, framed shaker style units with polished granite work surfaces and two undermounted sinks with integrated drainer grooves. There's a fridge/ freezer and a dishwasher built in with space for a range cooker and chimney extractor fitted. Timber planked floors extend from the kitchen throughout the living space and the vaulted ceiling is supported by exposed beams. Above the kitchen there's a flexible mezzanine level which works as a fourth bedroom space or study etc (just bear in mind that the space is not enclosed). Off the kitchen the master bedroom is another impressive space with beams, exposed stonework and it's own wood burner it's truly one of a kind. The master bedroom and bedroom two both have en-suite shower rooms and there's a further shower room adjacent to bedroom three. From the living room there's a corridor to the back door and a large bathroom which doubles as the utility with airing cupboard and space for the washing machine and tumble drier along with the shower enclosure and luxury roll top claw foot bath. The property has a mix of UPVC double and triple glazing and is heated with a bio mass pellet boiler. Outside there are four stone storage sheds and further storage in the basement. The double garage has a studio space over with external timber access stairs to the rear. There's ample parking and turning space on the block paved, gated driveway and the lawns and the garden are an attractive mix of stone walling, lawn and planting with a slated patio which has a hot tub (included). A truly delightful property with a great deal of space to offer!
